The Strathspey Railway company reopened the line in 1978 and since then visitors have been able to imagine themselves back in the days of the steam railway with all it’s sights, sounds and, yes smells. You can travel 1st or 3rd class and enjoy a range of refreshments most days in the dining car as you view the scenery.
Travel form Aviemore to Broomhill (Glenbogle station in the BBC production of Monarch of the Glen) and back again to Aviemore.
The station can be accessed directly form the main street in Aviemore – cross the footbridge to Platform 3.
