Had a really good stay at Springburn Log Cabins,
Cabins are a really high standard, very clean,
Sheila and Sandy are very welcoming and nothing was a problem,
Also really good that we could take our Dog with us as there is a nice walk around Springburn to look forward to,
Highly recommend a stay here.

We visited here in August and what an amazing family holiday we had, the cabin we stayed in was the kestrel and it was everything and more, very comfortable, warm and relaxing, every home comfort and a hot tub to boot. The area around the cabin was spacious and extremely safe for a family with small children. They have some lovely animals to pop along and see as well. Couldn’t recommend enough it’s very friendly well run and really all you could ever want. The owners are just the nicest people who make you feel very welcome. And also leave you a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Lots to see and do in the local and surrounding areas it’s not far from some lovely beaches and local attractions. All in all it’s fab.

booked the kestrel cabin for my fiancee’s birthday. we stayed 5 nights. the cabin was very clean well equipped. The kestrel cabin comes with the hot tub which was brilliant very clean also. The rooms and beds were immaculate and very comfortable. the grounds are stunning lots of space and very private too. we took our 3 dogs and they could Roam the garden with absolutely no worry of them getting out . no short supply of interesting wildlife and animal’s in and out the garden. sheila who was a fantastic host could not have been more helpful. Shelia informed us if we leave the garden and do the loop round the main grounds its exactly a mile. In that mile is sheep chickens highland cows donkeys horses all who are very used to human contact and you could get up close and pet most of them also stunning scenery all the way around the walk. The site itself is very central to all the main city routes great for getting anything you need with Tesco and Asda on your doorstep. The amazing castle and cathedral buildings and the absolutely stunning beaches in the area all no more than 40 mins away but most are only 20 minutes away. Cant rate the cabin the grounds and sheila highly enough. We had an amazing time and will be returning without a shadow of a doubt.

This break far exceeded our expectations. Such a fabulous cabin, very well equipped and so many thoughtful little touches.

We were in the Buzzard cabin which is surrounded by little paths through the woods where we saw badgers, deer, owls and hares. The peace was heavenly.

The surrounding area is so lovely. Lots of little harbours so reminiscent of Cornwall but without the crowds. No problem parking anywhere and no charge except in Elgin itself. We visited the glen moray distillery which was one of the best we’ve done. Just £5 and 2 whiskies to taste at the end. We also took the heritage railway from Keith to dufftown which was made even more memorable when a deer ran alongside the train.

Thanks so much to our perfect hosts Sheila and Sandy who are there to offer good advice if needed. We will definitely be back
