Summer house by the loch

20160731_173351[1]

Official opening of the summer house at the loch.

We were delighted that Elaine and Ray who celebrate their 26th holiday with us, accepted the offer to cut the ribbon.

The summer house is open to any guests who would like to relax by the loch and  watch nature at its best.

Short break in July

20160511_134454[1]

Short break in July at the kestrel cabin.

Short break minimum stay 3 nights is available from 2 – 9 July.

This cabin sleeps 4 and dogs are most welcome.  The kestrel has an enclosed garden which is ideal for children to play. Beautiful sandy beaches at Burghead, Hopeman and Lossiemouth are all just a 10 minute drive from the cabin.

If you fancy going into the mountains – the Cairngorm National park is 40 miles from Miltonduff.

Morayshire is a gem with lots to do and see

Rhododendron walks

20160613_152210[1]20160613_151829[1]20160613_151152[1]20160613_151133[1]

The rhododendron walks are spectacular at Springburn.

Each walk is magical, you never know what you will find.  Deer can often be seen grazing amongst the trees and if you are lucky you may spot a badger.  Buzzards can be seen hovering high above the trees and sometimes the osprey can be spotted soaring above the loch.

The safe quiet  walks have been created to capture nature at its best.  Dogs and children will love them.

Fly fishing is available on Springburn loch, just give us a call for more information.  Hopefully this summer the little beach hut will be ready at the loch for families to enjoy.

New Guests at Springburn

20160603_153444[2]

Our new guests arrived safely at Springburn  this afternoon.  The sheep had their lambs at the beginning of April and hopefully they will enjoy their stay at the croft.
