July availability at Kestrel

July availability at the Kestrel cabin due to a cancellation received this morning.

 

Week commencing 15th July is now free.

 

This cabin has an enclosed garden which  makes it a safe environment for children and dogs.

 Peaceful forestry walks are only 5 minutes drive away from the cabin and beautiful beaches at Burghead, Hopeman and Lossiemouth  approx. 10 miles from Miltonduff.

Triplets for Springburn

Triplets born today.

Triplet lambs were born this morning,  mother and babies doing well.

Expectant  mothers to be have been transferred to the lambing paddock beside Juno and Quester the horses.  Poor Hamish the donkey will be missing them.

Happy days !!

 

Wi fi for Buzzard

Buzzard cabin gets Wi fi

We are pleased to say that the buzzard has now got internet connection in time for the start of the children’s Easter holidays.

Hot tub’s panoramic view of peace and tranquillity.

What a beautiful spring morning to be doing last minute preparations to the hot tub in time for our guests arriving this weekend.  Hopefully this good weather will continue into the Easter holidays.  Dates are still available at the end of April for Buzzard and kestrel cabins.  Book now and catch the Spirit of Speyside Whisky festival which starts on 27 April.

Spring shorts breaks in April

Springburn log cabins are  happy to offer short breaks for the kestrel and buzzard  cabins with a   minimum stay of 3 nights from as little as £285.  Each cabin has its own hot tub with luxurious robes,  slippers and toiletries.  Both cabins can cater for a family of 4 and dogs are most welcome at no extra cost.

Buzzard cabin

Only one week left in April – Saturday 22 – 29th.

Kestrel cabin

6 days  from Sunday 23rd – Saturday 29th April.

Book now to enjoy a tranquil, stress free break in the heart of the countryside and yet only 10 minutes drive from the local beaches at Hopeman, Lossiemouth and Burghead.

We are delighted to have received a strong 4 star rating once more for the  kestrel and buzzard cabins. The kestrel like the buzzard welcomes dogs at no extra cost.  Maximum number 2. 

The kestrel has an enclosed garden for the safety of dogs and children.  The buzzard is in the middle of erecting a fence around part of the garden for the same purpose.

Guests are most welcome to take their dogs on the quiet walks around Springburn and enjoy the beauty of the daffodils at this time of year.

Friends at Springburn

Hamish and the sheep are great friends.

Only 6 weeks to go until the lambs are due to be born and Hamish is enjoying looking after his companions.

At the moment the kestrel cabin has only got the week commencing 1 April and a short break at the end of the month

The Buzzard cabin has got the week commencing 22 April available.

Springburn is a great place for children and maybe if there is an orphan lamb they might get the chance to feed it!!
