Rowan, do you want to know a secret? The swallows are back at Springburn and they are nesting in my stable!! Certainly without MY permission and I’ll be they’re not even paying rent!! They’re maybe taking this self-catering in Moray just a wee bit bit toooo far!! Bloomin’ cheek.

Brilliant weather for the start of the school summer holidays.
Blues skies , 20 degrees and the foxgloves are in full bloom here at Springburn today. What a great start for the school holidays and there is still time to book a holiday at Springburn log cabins.
Unfortunately, the buzzard cabin is fully booked for the months of July and August but the osprey cabin still has a short break available from Monday 15th July – Saturday 20 July and a few days in August 11 – 24 .
The kestrel cabin has 2 weeks left. Week commencing 20 July and the week commencing 3 August.

The kestrel cabin has 8 days available from 19 – 27 July. This cabin has an enclosed garden which is safe for children and dogs to play.
The buzzard cabin has only got the week commencing 13 July left.
Both cabins also offer short breaks.

This bright and cosy lodge has french windows which open onto a veranda looking west towards Pluscarden Glen (Home of the famous Pluscarden Abbey). Ospreys have been nearby.
Kestrel nestles on the edge of a five-acre natural woodland. Many species of wildlife can be observed from this peaceful setting. The cabin has panoramic views facing south from the french windows.
A private track follows a small burn through a wooded glade up the hill to the Buzzard cabin. This cabin is situated on an elevated site and shares the open woodland with deer and badgers.
